Normal opening hours:
The Museum is open 6 days a week:
Tuesday – Friday from 10.30am – 4.30pm,
Saturday from 10.30am – 4.00pm,
Sunday 11.30 am – 3.30pm.
Closed on Monday.

Children aged 16 and under must be
accompanied by an adult.
Dogs on a lead are allowed in the museum.

Malmesbury Abbey Music Society (MAMS) - Schubert Plus - The Berkeley Ensemble with a programme of Octets written 200 years apart

Franz Schubert - Octet in F major and John Metcalf - Octet

"For our first visit to Malmesbury Abbey Music we’re performing two works for octet: Schubert’s monumental work, written late in the composer’s short life, and leading Welsh composer John Metcalf’s own piece for the same forces, inspired equally by Schubert and Welsh folksongs."

This is a 5 ½ mile walk, starting in Cricklade, through North Meadow with a coffee stop in Cerney Wick, please bring your own refreshments. There are cows and horses in the fields, so please put dogs on leads, good news there are no stiles. Dogs are welcome to join the walk (Please use a lead were needed)
