Tour of Malmesbury's old bank the 'Wilts & Dorset' Bank now Aroma Restaurant, 35 High Street.  Find out about its fascinating behind-the-scenes history through plans, photographs and a tour.

Tours are about an hour and will end at Lally's Tea Room for a tour of the cellar, former location of Malmesbury's infamous Taranchula Coffee House.

To Build A Home - Exhibition by Malmesbury young artists

Exhibition at John Bowen Gallery, Malmesbury Town Hall.  Celebrating young local artists, this exhibition features the work produced during Caerbladon’s Summer Workshop programme led by Mareyam Smith.

The techniques used are inspired by the Victorian doll’s house created by Maryem as part of her course at Wimbledon School of Art.

The original house will be on display at Caerbladon throughout the exhibition.

Infectious rhythms, vintage vibes and pure good-time energy, Clay Bottom Jug Busters are Bristol’s neighbourhood jug band, serving up blistering blues, hard-hootin’ hokum and ragtime-infused revelry inspired by the great jug bands of Memphis.

This is an annual national sponsored event, organised locally by County Historic Churches Trusts. Wiltshire Ride & Stride (or its predecessor the Great Cycle Ride) has been going since 1984 and has raised over £1.7 million for the county’s churches. 50% of the money raised goes to the participant’s chosen church and the other half to the County Historic Churches Trust.  More info on the website or contact Malmesbury Abbey Office on 01666 826666 if you would like to participate.

Relax, reset and take time for yourself as we head towards the Autumn Equinox, a time of balance of equal day and night as we notice the seasons beginning to change, signalling to us to slow down once again.

We will start with some gentle breathwork and meditation before settling into a long rest, accompanied by the beautiful and relaxing sound of singing bowls and other sound healing instruments.
